~ @Wild Child, I create resources and services to reconnect you with your forgotten magic. ~
I want to introduce you to someone. Her name is ‘Wild Child’ and though you may not have noticed, she’s been tugging at your sleeve trying to get your attention for a while now. She’s been wanting to reconnect with you.
Who is ‘Wild Child’?:
Wild Child is that part of yourself that was left behind. She’s the rich inner world you’ve forgotten. She’s the wonder and excitement that is your birthright. She’s deeply connected to the natural world and the magic of life.
Why does she want to reconnect with you?:
She’s been banished for a very long time in your efforts to conform to the societal ‘norms’. She longs to share her deepest desires and secrets with you; the ones you packed away and slid into the closet long ago, in fear that someone might laugh at them. She yearns to be a part of your life.
Why do you want to reconnect with her?:
She holds the secrets to your authenticity. She safeguards the key to your treasure chest full of unique talents and super-powers. She knows the truth of who you are and why you’re here.
Do you remember how awe-struck life and nature could make you feel when you were a child?
I want you to reconnect with that part of yourself that still believes life can be that magical, full of wonder and enchantment.
The self before ‘innocence lost’ (or worse, killed) that’s still buried deep inside of you. I know you can feel her. She’s either, waiting oh so patiently for permission or screaming to come out and play. 😉
“The Wild call for space, crept further and further into her over-worked mind. The cubicle she now called, “home” seemed smaller than usual, suffocating what mind-power she had left. She looked up at the seemingly frozen clock on the wall, placed, she thought “very cliche” above the water cooler; mumbling voices and an occasional guffaw splitting the air. She wrestled to keep the slippery sarcasm that was percolating into bitterness at bay. The minute hand on the clock clicked into place so loudly she jumped and her second-hand office chair squealed like a hungry sow, the voices falling silent. Without thought she stood, reached for her weathered Coach handbag, slinging it over her shoulder with such force her keys fell out and onto the floor. She reached for them with a vengeance. Grabbing her out-dated iPhone (a little tighter than usual) and taking one last look at the empty and forlorn, four gray walls— her prison—she turned, took a deep breath and walked with resolute conviction out the ordinary glass door forever, “Answering”, she thought, ‘The call of the Wild’.” – excerpt from Jack London’s ‘Call of the Wild’
Wild Child is all about un-taming and releasing your true essence back into the world.
This can be scary. There may be wounds to be healed. But…
Nature, my partner, is a powerful healer.
